Most people don't know this about me, but I am actually related to Stanly Hanley. For those who do not know, Stanly is the creator of the Stanly Tools.
According to my family tree, Stanley Hanley was born in the small town of Hanley Falls, MN. At a young age he became interested in carpentry, but was unimpressed with the quality of the tools available. When he was 25 he started the Stanley tool line. Ten years later it became the number one line of tools. Unfortunately, Stanley was killed by Joe Craftsman and Steve DeWalt.
Upon moving into my house, my father passed down the first Stanley Hanley Hammer. True story.
